Get ready, Thunder Bay! National Youth Week is back, and the City is turning up the energy to celebrate the passion, potential, and power of our youth from May 1 to 7. Whether you're into crafting, food, sports or just trying something new – Youth Week 2025 has something for everyone aged 10–24. And the best part? Every event is FREE!

The City’s Recreation & Culture Division, in partnership with local organizations, has put together a week packed with fun, creativity, and opportunities to connect.

“National Youth Week is an exciting time of the year for us,” says Nina Arcon, Program Supervisor of Children, Youth & Strategic Initiatives. “It’s a chance to celebrate the incredible young people in our community by offering them fun, meaningful opportunities to connect, learn, and express themselves. We’re proud to work with our community partners to create a lineup of events that truly reflect the spirit, energy, and creativity of Thunder Bay’s youth.”
