Pacific Avenue Overpass at Simpson Street to Temporarily Close

A section of Simpson Street from Northern Avenue to Pacific Avenue, including the Pacific Avenue Overpass, will be closed Monday, Oct. 5 and Tuesday, Oct. 6 for top lift paving.

Motorists are asked to plan an alternative route and to drive with caution in the area.

COVID-19: Transit service changes coming October 1

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Thunder Bay Transit will be adjusting service levels until further notice to best meet fluctuating ridership levels and customer demands.

Clarification on Incomplete Vote at Council Meeting

At last night’s meeting, City Council requested a separate vote on the September 14 Committee of the Whole minutes in order to ratify the decision to fund the Thunder Bay sign from the Municipal Accommodation Tax.
