February 1, 2017 - Representatives from the City of Thunder Bay and Fort William First Nation participated in the Community Economic Development Initiative (CEDI) today, a national program delivered jointly by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and the Council for the Advancement of Native Development Officers.

January 31, 2017 - Over 35 nominees in 15 categories will be celebrated at the City of Thunder Bay's 7th Annual Arts & Heritage Awards, presented by Copperfin Credit Union. Owner Ticketed For Smoke Alarm Violation

January 31, 2017 - A Wiley Street property owner has been ticketed for failing to install a smoke alarm where required. The ticket carries a fine of $360.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue responded to a possible structural fire at the residence on Thursday, Jan. 26. The first arriving crew quickly extinguished a mattress fire. Further investigation into the fire resulted in the ticket being issued.

January 26, 2017 - Tickets are now available for the City of Thunder Bay's 7th Annual Arts & Heritage Awards, presented by Copperfin Credit Union. January 24, 2017 - The proposed 2017 Municipal Budget documents prepared by City Administration were released and form the starting point for City Council's detailed review.
