The Thunder Bay & District Entrepreneur Centre is excited to announce that Thunder Bay businesses are now eligible to sign up for a free website through Digital Main Street’s ShopHERE program. The ShopHERE program offers businesses and artists the opportunity to build a digital presence and minimize the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Federal Government along with Google are funding the program to ensure every small business has an opportunity to go digital.

Training with a Pro Goes Virtual This Summer

PRO Kids’ Training with a Pro is back for its fifth year, but this time, it will be delivered in a virtual format. The public is invited to exercise and train along with their professional hockey idols every Wednesday from July 22 to August 12, at 12 pm.

The public is invited to watch a virtual presentation by Stantec Architecture on the proposed Chapples multi-use indoor turf facility and provide comment. The presentation and comment form are available until July 19, at www.thunderbay.ca/GetInvolved.

Stantec Architecture was retained by the City of Thunder Bay to design a new multi-use indoor turf facility. While an in-person public presentation was planned, due to COVID-19 and limits on gathering, this presentation has now been made virtual.

The public is invited to view Grant Thornton’s Phase Two Report of the City’s Programs and Services and share comments from now until July 31.
