City Responds to Pending Job Losses at Bombardier

Following the announcement of significant pending job losses at the local Bombardier plant, the City will continue to do everything within its power to support residents and maintain the economic stability of Thunder Bay and the region.

City to Host Forest Fire Evacuees from Pikangikum First Nation

The City of Thunder Bay is preparing to receive approximately hundreds more people beyond expressed capacity from Pikangikum First Nation after an evacuation order was called for the community due to the threat of a nearby 404-square kilometre forest fire.
