City Announces National Youth Week Celebrations May 1-7

The City of Thunder Bay is thrilled to once again host youth events this year in celebration of National Youth Week from May 1 to May 7. The Recreation and Culture Division, along with other community partners, have arranged many fun events for youth ages 10–24 to participate in throughout the week. High St. South, between Elizabeth St. and Red River Rd, is CLOSED due to an emergency storm sewer repair located at the north east corner of Red River Rd and High St. North.
The west bound curb lane of Red River Rd approaching the intersection is also closed.

Boulevard Lake connector trail to close for maintenance

A section of multi-use trail on the west side of Boulevard Lake will be closed on Wednesday (tomorrow) between Lyon Boulevard and Toledo Street between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for tree and brush-clearing maintenance.
The work will not affect the five-kilometre loop trail around Boulevard Lake but will temporarily close one of its connector trails.
