Broadcasts of Weekly City Council Meetings to be Suspended

Televised broadcasts of weekly Committee of the Whole (COW) and City Council meetings will be temporarily suspended starting one month before the October 22 municipal election to permit a more level playing field for all candidates.

The City of Thunder Bay’s Live on the Waterfront summer concert series continues next Wednesday, Aug. 8 with Scotland’s award-winning Celtic act Breabach.

In 2016, Breabach received the Scots Trad Music Awards ‘Folk Band of the Year’ for the second time and ‘Album of the Year’ for their fifth studio album ‘Astar’.
