Section of Edward Street North Closed Friday for Repair

A short section of Edward Street North from Miles Street West to Park Row will be closed in both directions on Friday, Jan. 29, for water infrastructure repairs. Expected duration of the repair work is from 9 am to 4 pm.
Motorists are asked to plan alternative routes for Friday, and to drive with caution in the area of the road closure.

Thunder Bay Delegation Brings Priorities to Provincial Level

Thunder Bay’s key priorities were addressed during the 2021 Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) Conference that took place Jan. 25 and 26. The Conference was held entirely online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A delegation led by Councillor Brian McKinnon, Chair – Intergovernmental Affairs Committee, along with Mayor Bill Mauro, and City Manager Norm Gale brought forward community issues to lobby for action and/or funding, and promote Thunder Bay’s important issues relevant to the community.
