Thunder Bay’s key priorities were addressed during the 2020 Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) Conference in Toronto this week.

City Crews Respond to Edward Street North Water Main Break

The City is responding to a water main break at 514 Edward Street North, which is resulting in disruptions to traffic.
The Edward Street northbound lanes are closed at the Redwood Avenue intersection. Traffic will have to reroute around the area by using Redwood Avenue, Westminster Street, Ford Street and Woodlawn Avenue.
In addition, the sidewalk on the east side of Edward Street, between Redwood Avenue and Woodlawn Avenue is closed.

The Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) hosted an employer information session today aimed at educating local employers about the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP).
