November 6, 2017 - Thunder Bay Fire Rescue received a $5000 donation of combination smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms today from Union Gas for Thunder Bay Fire Rescue's SAFE program (Smoke/CO Alarms For Everyone). November 3, 2017 - Thunder Bay Fire Rescue wants residents to check their fire extinguishers. More than 40 million extinguishers, including about 2.7 million sold in Canada, are being recalled because they may not work in an emergency.
