Council Approved the Purchase of a Mobile Speed Radar Sign

October 3, 2017 - City Council approved the purchase of a mobile speed radar sign yesterday at Committee of the Whole. The mobile sign provides flexibility, allowing it to be deployed to several areas of concern throughout the city.

Section of Central Avenue to Close Due to Water Main Work

October 2, 2017 - Central Avenue, between Golf Links Road and Amber Drive, will be closed to eastbound traffic due to water main work, starting Wednesday. 

Work is expected to start the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 4, and be completed by end of day Thursday, Oct. 5. 

The road will be closed to through traffic, however, local traffic and access to businesses will be permitted. Motorists are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage when travelling near the construction area.
