Help Design New Wayfinding Street Signs and Maps

September 13, 2017 - The City is asking residents to help plan and design new street signs and maps for walkers and cyclists. Good street signs and mapping help people find their way around. This means kids finding their way to school, seniors finding the library, and visitors finding a park or a downtown area. Help Improve Transit in Thunder Bay: Route Optimization Plan Underway

September 12, 2017 - Residents are invited to get involved in the Thunder Bay Transit Route Optimization Plan which aims to make transit services more effective and efficient. Comments to improve transit services can be submitted by completing an online survey at http://tbtsurvey.fyi. The survey can also be accessed through the City's website at www.thunderbay.ca/transit and will be open until Friday, Oct. 6.

Cameron Street Storm Sewer Work Begins Tuesday

September 11, 2017 - A section of Cameron Street, from Waterloo Street to Norah Street North, will be closed to through traffic due to maintenance to the storm water collection system.

The work is scheduled to begin at 8 am on Tuesday, Sept. 12, and continue until Thursday, Sept. 14, at 4:30 pm. Access to Bernard Street and Franklin Street North will be available at the Norah Street North entrance only.

September 8, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay, in partnership with Healthy Kids Community Challenge and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, are launching the new Fuel Shop Canteen at the Delaney Arena tomorrow, which offers healthier food and drink options for everyone to enjoy.
