Section of Mountdale Avenue to Close for Rail Crossing Rehabilitation

September 25, 2017 - Mountdale Avenue, from Gore Street to the laneway accessing Stanley Avenue, will be closed to all through traffic starting on Tuesday, Sept. 26, to allow for rehabilitation work on the CP rail crossing.
The closure is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, Sept. 29.
The construction schedule is subject to change, as various factors - such as weather - can have an impact on project timelines.

September 25, 2017 - National Coaches Week is underway across Canada to celebrate the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities. National Coaches Week runs from September 23 to 30 and is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play. September 22, 2017 - ReStore Week at the Solid Waste & Recycling Facility on Mapleward Road will take place from Monday, Sept. 25 to Saturday, Sept. 30. September 22, 2017 - A delegation from Nanning, China, signed an official Friendship Agreement between the City of Thunder Bay and Nanning, China, on Friday, Sept. 22, at City Hall. Ontario Chief Building Officials to Gather in Thunder Bay

September 18, 2017 - The Chief Building Officials from 24 large municipalities across Ontario are gathering in Thunder Bay this week, from Sept. 19 - 22, for their Annual Fall Meeting. This is the first time the event will be held in Thunder Bay.
