Thunder Bay Priorities Identified at Provincial Level

August 16, 2017 - Thunder Bay's key priorities were brought to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) Annual Conference in Ottawa this week.

Fort William Urban Park Showcases the Fort William Business District

August 15, 2017 - The Fort William Urban Park pilot project launched today on Victoria Avenue East. The street was closed to pedestrian traffic between Brodie Street and May Street from 11 am to 3 pm, and the street was filled with community partner booths, local businesses, vendors, live entertainment and activities for children.

Section of Arthur Street to Close During Repairs

August 1, 2017 - The westbound lane of Arthur Street, between Waterloo Street and Edward Street, will be closed on Thursday, Aug. 3 and Friday, Aug. 4, to through traffic while asphalt repairs are completed. Detour signs will be marked and lanes will be reopened after working hours.

Eastbound traffic on Arthur Street will remain unaffected. Local access will be available from side streets and the eastbound direction.
