Terry Fox: Running to the Heart of Canada Exhibit in Thunder Bay

May 19, 2015 - Thunder Bay celebrated the opening of Terry Fox: Running to the Heart of Canada today at the Thunder Bay Museum a travelling exhibition commemorating Terry Fox. The City was selected as a launch site for the exhibit.

May 14, 2015 - The City of Thunder Bay is investing $40 million in 2015 on road and sidewalk rehabilitation, residential paving, sewer and watermain repair/replacement, bridge work and streetlight renewal. This also includes $380,000 in the Enhanced Infrastructure Renewal Program Capital Budget in 2015.

Storm Sewer Construction to Close Intersection Wednesday

May 12, 2015 - The intersection of William Street/James Street and Golf Links Road/Edward Street North will be closed to north-south through traffic on Wednesday, May 13, due to ongoing storm sewer work.

Southbound traffic will be able to turn right onto James Street North, while northbound traffic will have access to William Street - the closure only affects through traffic.

May 11, 2015 - The 2015 City of Thunder Bay Citizen Satisfaction Survey shows that when it comes to satisfaction with city services, 87 per cent are satisfied, which has remained relatively unchanged over the past several years.
