City’s Virtual Live on the Waterfront Series Recognized Provincially

The City of Thunder Bay’s adaptation of the Live on the Waterfront Performance Series to a virtual format has received an Achievement Award from Festival Events Ontario (FEO).

Water Main Break Repair Closes Water Street

As a result of a water main break, Water Street is currently closed to traffic between Park Avenue and Pearl Street. There will be no through traffic until further notice. 

Motorists are asked to plan an alternative route, and to drive with caution in the area of the road closure.

Facilities Close as City Moves to Province’s Level Grey - Lockdown

The Province announced today that on Monday, March 1, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) zone will move to Grey: Lockdown (maximum measures) which is outlined by the Province as “widescale measures and restrictions, including closures, to halt or interrupt transmission.”
