Simpson Street at Bethune Street Now Reopen Following Work

The intersection of Simpson Street at Bethune Street, which was closed to through traffic due to a water main break, has now been reopened.
Traffic flow has returned to normal in the affected area.

Simpson Street at Bethune Street Closed for Water Main Work

The intersection of Simpson Street at Bethune Street is closed to through traffic due to a water main break now being assessed by City crews. Simpson Street is closed to traffic at Cummings Street and Cameron Street, and Bethune Street is also closed at Hardisty Street.
As repair work continues, motorists are advised to expect slowdowns and to be diverted around the affected area.

PRO Kids’ Training with a Pro: The Hockey Edition is back for its fourth year. On Aug. 14, from 6 – 8 pm, children and youth ages 5 – 13 have the chance to meet, exercise and train with their professional hockey idols.
This year’s clinic will feature local pro, Carter Hutton of the Buffalo Sabres.

Today is National Testing Day and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, Elevate NWO, NorWest Community Health Centres and Thunder Bay Drug Strategy partnered to raise awareness about HIV and Hepatitis in the community and offer free testing today at Victoriaville Mall from 11am – 2pm.
