Thunder Bay Among Communities Preparing to Host Evacuees

The City of Thunder Bay is among communities that have been asked by the Province to host residents of Kashechewan First Nation due to potential for flooding.

Thunder Bay has officially been recognized as a Youth Friendly Designated City. The City of Thunder Bay’s Recreation and Culture Division put forth an application based on the work that has been achieve in the area over the past several years. Traffic Lights at Victoria Avenue and Lillie Street Reactivated

The traffic lights at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Lillie Street will be reactivated tomorrow, April 4, 2019.
During the first few days, the signals will be set to a flashing red light to allow drivers time to adjust to the reactivation of the signals. Drivers should treat the flashing red light as an all-way stop. The signals will then resume normal operation on Monday, April 8, 2019.
