Water Main Break

South Water Street Closed for Watermain Break Repair

A watermain break on South Water Street, between Pearl Street and Park Avenue, has necessitated a temporary road closure for repairs. The closure is expected to remain in effect until late tonight.

Motorists are asked to avoid this section of Water Street South, and to drive with caution in the area.

City of Thunder Bay Announces Winter FunDays Activities

The City of Thunder Bay is excited to announce the return of Winter FunDays in 2022. The weekly activities will be held every Sunday in neighbourhoods throughout the city, from Sunday, Jan. 30 to Sunday, March 10 - from 2 pm to 4 pm. All activities will take place outdoors. Participants will be required to adhere to all COVID protocols, including mandatory masks and physical distancing.

The City’s Municipal Emergency Control Group (MECG) met today with community partners as part of its ongoing management of the COVID-19 situation. The group continues to meet weekly to provide a coordinated approach to the community’s COVID-19 pandemic response.

Impacts to City Services Following New Provincial Regulations
