Litter Cleanup Day at Marina Park This Sunday

EarthCare Thunder Bay is teaming up with EcoSuperior for a Litter Cleanup Day in the parkland/shoreline at Marina Park on Sleeping Giant Parkway.

Centennial Park’s Muskeg Express Temporarily Closed

A problem with the tracks has necessitated the closure of the Muskeg Express amusement ride at Centennial Park. The ride had re-opened this past Saturday after being closed last summer due to the pandemic. During the downtime, it received repairs and a safety certification from the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA).
The problem is being assessed, and the City’s Parks and Open Spaces Section will issue an announcement when the ride re-opens.
