One of the launches at Marina Park will be accessible to the public on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 9 am – 7 pm. However, at this time, only those requiring use of the launch will be allowed access, as it will not be open for parking purposes.

The construction at Marina Park continues to be delayed due to weather conditions. It is tentatively scheduled to re-open with a new paved surface by Friday, Oct. 19.

During the closure, residents can use the following boat launches:

  • Neste Boat Launch on Mountdale Avenue on the Kaministiquia River;
  • Current River Boat Launch (Fisherman's Wharf) on Cumberland Street N. (To access the Current River Boat Launch, turn right on Grenville Avenue, right onto Shipyard Road and left onto Fisherman’s Road); or
  • McKellar Boat Launch (Mission Island) at 725 104th Street, accessed from 106th Street.

Boaters who currently have a slip at the Marina that have any questions, or require more information, can contact Boater Services at 345-2741.
