The City’s amusement rides will open for the season starting this weekend.

The amusement rides at Chippewa Park will open on Saturday, June 18. The hours of operation in June are Saturdays and Sundays, from 1 pm – 8 pm. The amusement rides are closed on weekdays during the month of June. Starting in July until Labour Day weekend, the amusement rides are open Wednesdays – Sundays, from 1 pm – 8 pm.

The Muskeg Express mini-train ride at Centennial Park will also open on Saturday, June 18. The hours of operation in June are Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 am – 4 pm (last ride is 3:50 pm). The Muskeg Express is closed on weekdays in June. Starting in July until Labour Day weekend, the Muskeg Express will be open Wednesdays – Sundays, from 11 am – 4 pm (last ride is 3:50 pm).
