August 17, 2016 - The intersection at Balmoral Street and Sibley Drive will remain closed until Friday, Aug. 19, as construction of a new storm sewer is completed.  
 
The closure affects the west side of Balmoral Street (side on which the Thunder Bay District Health Unit is located). The east side of the intersection remains open to traffic. The intersection at William Street and Balmoral Street has also reopened.

Businesses located along Sibley Drive will remain open and can be accessed via the William Street intersection and Barton Street.

The construction schedule is subject to change, as various factors - such as weather - can have an impact on project timelines.

Drivers are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage when travelling near the construction area.
