April 19, 2016 - The City of Thunder Bay is inviting artists, artisans and community groups to participate in summer events.
Community group booth opportunities include all city produced events. All events are free to the public and collectively draw thousands of attendees:
- Canada Day - Friday evening, July 1 - approx. 20,000 attendees
- Live on the Waterfront (Summer in the Parks) - Wednesdays from July 6 to August 24 - approx. 3,000 attendees per week
- Movie Nights on the Waterfront, Fridays May 22, 27, August 19, 26, September 2, 9, 16 and October 28
- Kite Festival - Sunday afternoon, June 5 - approx. 4,000 attendees
- Teddy Bears Picnic - Tuesday afternoon, July 12 - approx. 4,000 attendees
- City Hall Sounds - Thursday lunch hours from August 4 to August 25 - approx. 200 attendees per week
- Exploring Our Routes - Sunday afternoon, September 18 - approx. 1000 attendees
Artist Markets will be held at the following City events:
- Canada Day - Friday evening, July 1 - approx. 20,000 attendees
- Live on the Waterfront, Wednesdays from July 6 to August 24 - approx. 3000 attendees per week
