February 2, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay is inviting musicians, dance groups, children's entertainers and other stage performance acts to apply to perform at the City's annual summer events series.
Performance opportunities include over 14 event days, with two major single-day events and two event series. All events are free to the public and collectively draw thousands of attendees.
Talent is needed for:
- Canada Day (four stages): Saturday, July 1, evening - approximately 20,000 attendees
- Teddy Bears Picnic: Tuesday, July 12, afternoon - approximately 4,000 attendees
- Live on the Waterfront: July 12 to Aug. 31, (Wednesday evenings) - approximately 3,500 attendees/week
- City Hall Sounds: Aug. 4 to Aug. 25 (Thursday lunch hours) - approximately 200 attendees/week
The application deadline for this Call for Talent is Friday, Mar. 31, at 4 pm.
