EarthCare Thunder Bay invites citizens to get involved and have their say on the renewal of the Sustainability Plan. The Plan is a guiding document which aims to address issues of community sustainability, climate adaptation, and greenhouse gas reduction.

“The renewal of this Plan will provide both the municipality and the community with the action items necessary in order to secure the environmental health of our city,” said Amy Coomes, Sustainability Coordinator for EarthCare Thunder Bay. “We encourage residents to participate and learn more as we work to improve the social, cultural, and economic well-being of future generations through environmental stewardship.”

Residents are encouraged to take part in an online survey which will help provide City Administration with the necessary information to guide the renewal of its Sustainability Plan. The survey is available until January 31, 2022. To register and take part, visit the Get Involved Thunderbay website.
