The City invites residents to share their feedback on summer events that were offered online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Participant feedback helps us maintain, modify and improve the events we offer,” said Louisa Costanzo – Supervisor, Cultural Development & Events. “This year our events were especially unique with shifting to virtual events. We’d love to hear what residents thought of this new format.”

Canada Day on the Waterfront, presented by Ontario Power Generation, was held virtually from June 29 – July 1 with 50th Anniversary flare. It included a science show, art projects, online e-gaming tournament, trivia, cooking demonstrations, and virtual performances.

Virtual Live, the online version of Live on the Waterfront presented by Ontario Power Generation, was held every Wednesday evening from July 8 – Aug. 26. A variety of music genres were offered and this year’s events showcased award‐winning Canadian performers as well as local talent in celebration of the City’s 50th Anniversary. Art projects lead by community artists were also featured between acts.

The online survey can be completed at www.thunderbay.ca/GetInvolved and will be available until Oct. 6, 2020. Survey participants will be entered to win a staycation prize pack.
