The City of Thunder Bay’s Central Support Division is launching a new online registration system today for recreation programs and facilities.
Residents will be able to create their own accounts to easily search, register and pay for upcoming programs and memberships online.
“We are excited to respond to the changing needs and preferences of our community and improve the customer service experience through the use of our new system,” said Andrea Morrison, Manager of Central Support Services.
The new registration software will replace existing software which has become obsolete. Participants are encouraged to visit the City’s registration page to create an account on the new system prior to registration opening. Registration will also continue to be available by phone.
Registration for summer 55 Plus Programs will open on May 26, and all other Recreation & Culture programs, including children and youth, aquatics and more, will open on May 31. Programs are listed in the summer edition of The Key magazine on our Recreation Guide - The Key page, and can also be viewed on the City’s registration webpage. Programs may be subject to change due to COVID-19 and regional/provincial reopening status. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, in person registration will not be offered.
