September 1, 2016 - An East Donald Street property owner plead guilty to illegal outdoor burning earlier this week in Provincial Offences court and was fined $250 from an incident on May 9 when a backyard bonfire was lit during the City of Thunder Bay and Ministry of Natural Resources fire ban.
"All outdoor burning is immediately suspended during any fire ban," said Deputy Fire Chief Dave Paxton. "Any outdoor burning within the City of Thunder Bay requires an annual permit and permit rules and regulations are strictly enforced."
