With COVID restrictions now lifted, the City will be moving forward with a modified season of in-person programming and is inviting talent, food vendors, event vendors, artist/artisans and community groups to apply to participate in the City’s annual events series.
The events season includes 15 event days, including two event series, ‘Live on the Waterfront’ and ‘Movie Nights in the Park’. All events are free to the public and, pre-pandemic, collectively drew tens of thousands of attendees.
The 2022 events include:
- Canada Day on the Waterfront: Friday, July 1
- Live on the Waterfront: July 13 to August 31 plus matinee performance to take place on one of the Wednesdays. Date to be determined
- Movie Nights in Park: August 12, August 19, August 26 and September 1
Food Vendor, Event Vendor, Community Groups and Artist/Artisan applications are due by 4 pm on Friday, May 12 and Call for Talent is due by Monday, May 16, 2022 at 4 pm.
