The City of Thunder Bay will collect public feedback on Recreation and Culture Division services through a public survey, as part of the process to update the Asset Management Plan (AMP).

The Asset Management Plan helps the City make informed decisions about services related to infrastructure and assets. The City is conducting a series of short surveys to gather feedback regarding City services. The information gathered in the surveys will help identify areas for improvement and investment priorities, so City services align with the expectations and requirements of the people who use them.

“Gathering feedback on what levels of service are expected from the infrastructure owned and operated by the City is an important part of developing the Asset Management Plan” says Project Manager Amy Coomes.

“This information helps us to better understand people’s experiences, concerns and needs, and how to manage our infrastructure to address those concerns and meet those needs, while also planning for the future.”

The survey can be accessed online until Nov. 15 at thunderbay.ca/getinvolved. Paper copies are available at Thunder Bay Public Library branches.

Survey results will be compiled and used to update the Asset Management Plan. Participation is voluntary, results remain anonymous, and the surveys take about 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

For more information or to request an accessible format of the survey, please contact Amy Coomes by e-mail at amy.coomes@thunderbay.ca.
