September 13, 2016 - Conquer the Tower is the new name of the local fundraising event that will see business and community representatives taking a plunge from the towers at the Canada Games Complex on Thursday, Nov. 10.

Proceeds will support P.R.O. Kids and the Thunder Bay Diving Club.

Businesses can nominate a volunteer who will agree to jump from one of the platforms, based on funds raised by co-workers:

  • $300 raised will see participants jump from the 3 metre board
  • $500 raised will see participants jump from the 5 metre  platform
  • $750 raised will see participants jump from the 7.5 metre platform
  • $1000 raised will see participants jump from the 10 metre platform

"If the individual finds themselves a little too high for their liking, they can buy their way down for $250 per level. The event also includes an exhibition from the Thunder Bay Diving Club members," said Laura Daniele, P.R.O. Kids Coordinator.

"The name "˜Conquer the Tower' clearly represents what these brave participants are actually doing - conquering their fear, all while raising funds to help kids get active and involved in our community."

This year's event is presented by Levaero Aviation.

"I'm thrilled that we can support this event. I've seen the difference that P.R.O. Kids can make in a child's life by helping them participate, and we're proud to be able to play a part in that," said Robert Arnone, President & CEO.
