Sewer infrastructure repairs are taking place on Thursday, June 20, on Arthur Street East and Marks Street South. Construction is expected to complete by end of the day.

Arthur Street East, from Franklin Street South to Vickers Street South will be reduced to one lane of traffic in both the eastbound and westbound directions. 

Impacts of the construction will result in the following turns being prohibited:

  • Left-hand turns from Arthur Street East onto Marks Street South
  • Right-hand turns from Arthur Street East onto Marks Street South 
  • Left-hand turns off of Marks Street South onto Arthur Street East heading westbound

In addition, access to the parking lots at the Spence Clinic and Tbaytel/Bell buildings will be at Marks Street South off Donald Street East.

Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage when travelling near the construction area.
