January 13, 2015 - City Council ratified a two-year collective agreement with the Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) which represents 58 full-time, part-time and casual Registered Nurses in the City's three Homes for the Aged.

The agreement runs from April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2016, and provides for general wage increases of 1.4% each year.

"The wage settlement is fair and fiscally responsible," said City Manager Tim Commisso. "Congratulations to both negotiating teams for their excellent work."
