As the City’s COVID-19 recovery continues to evolve, Thunder Bay Transit is continuing to adjust service levels to best meet fluctuating ridership levels and customer demands. Changes will be coming into effect on July 19 and 20 for routes, fares and boarding.

Changes coming into effect Sunday, July 19:
Monday to Saturday, routes 3M (Memorial), 3C (County Park), and 10 (Northwood) will change to stand alone routes and will no longer be combined (interline) with other routes. Bus frequencies will be increased on routes 3M and 3C. Passengers will be able to take advantage of new high frequency service offering 10 min bus frequencies 8 am – 6 pm between City Hall and Waterfront Terminal via Memorial with direct service into Intercity Shopping Centre. On Sunday, routes 3M, 3C & 10 will continue to interline. Bus frequency on 3M will be increased.

Changes coming into effect Monday July 20:
Fare payment will be required on all buses. Passengers will resume boarding buses through the front doors and be required to exit through the rear doors. Passengers with accessibility needs can continue to exit through the front doors.
