July 14, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay is thrilled to announce that The Once will be featured at Live on the Waterfront, presented by Ontario Power Generation, on July 19. 

"We are excited to be showcasing a phenomenal folk trio from Newfoundland while also showcasing the fantastic talent we have right here in Thunder Bay," said Ash Young, Cultural Development & Events Supervisor. 

The Once have quickly earned their place amongst Newfoundland's finest musical talent with multiple awards and nominations for the Music Newfoundland & Labrador Awards and East Coast Music Awards. The trio is decadent treat for the most discriminating folk pallet with vocal harmonies thick enough to stand on. 

Thunder Bay's Rag Maple will open the July 19 show. This duo throws back into high lonesome style while breathing new life into their sound with a modern indie flare. 

Live on the Waterfront runs from 6 pm - 9 pm every Wednesday from July 12 to August 30, and is funded in part by the Government of Ontario.
