The City of Thunder Bay is happy to announce the FREE activities and entertainment for Canada Day on the Waterfront, presented by Ontario Power Generation, on Saturday, July 1, at Prince Arthur's Landing, Marina Park.

Canada Day on the Waterfront will start with a Sunrise Ceremony at dawn near the Thai Chi Park. This ceremony is open to everyone. Beginning at 3pm there will be two performance stages featuring dance, improv, and music. The event also includes a variety of food vendors, artisans, programming, games, and activities, with something for everyone.

The day will include a sacred fire that will be lit as part of the Sunrise Ceremony and will burn throughout the event. There will also be educational opportunities that align with our goal of walking, learning, and growing together, in celebrating our diversity and finding meaningful ways to come together as a community.
