To support local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic the City of Thunder Bay Parking Authority has offered 15 minutes free parking for curbside pick-up and delivery during the past several months. With many restrictions now lifted across the province, this free parking will end on Sunday, Nov. 21.

“Now that patrons can access stores in the traditional way, we will be ending the temporary measures put in place during heightened COVID-19 restrictions,” said Jonathan Paske, Supervisor – Parking Authority. “Effective Monday, Nov. 22, you’ll once again have to feed the metre. All traditional parking requirements will be in place and enforced.”
