March 1, 2018 - In response to media reports today of racially motivated incidents of eggs being thrown from vehicles and striking pedestrians, Acting Mayor Paul Pugh made the following comment on behalf of City Council and Administration:

"We condemn hate motivated crimes and discriminatory attitudes.

We encourage everyone to report hate crimes and stand up to racism.

We must work together to make discriminatory attitudes and actions unacceptable in our community."

Report hate crimes to Police and Crimestoppers.
