Citizens of Thunder Bay are encouraged to provide their input on existing and possible future pickleball facilities in the City. An online survey has been released today, and will be available until 11:55 pm on Nov. 13.
The survey will help the City gauge public interest in possible private reservations of public outdoor pickleball courts, compare prospective use of outdoor courts by the general public versus potential members-only use through reservations, and assess prospective demand for indoor pickleball activities and facilities.
“Pickleball has obviously become a very popular activity in Thunder Bay, and our goal is to ensure that our facilities reflect the community's needs,” said Cory Halvorsen, Manager - Parks & Open Spaces. “We’re looking for information from the public on their use of the existing outdoor pickleball courts, and input on possible future facilities.”
Residents are encouraged to complete the online survey to provide their input on the city’s pickleball facilities.
