The people of Thunder Bay are encouraged to take part in an online survey to share their views on the Vickers Park Skating Trail.

The Skating Trail was created on a trial basis for the 2021 - 2022 winter skating season. The Parks & Open Spaces Section would like your feedback on this first year of the Skating Trail, if it should be continued in future years and if it should be improved upon.

The week of March break will be the final week of outdoor rink operations for the 2021 - 2022 season. Ice conditions remain good and people are encouraged to visit the Vickers Park Skating Trail, along with all of the City’s other great outdoor skating rink locations. The Prince Arthur’s Landing skating rink will remain open until 9 pm on March 20, while all other outdoor rink sites may have to close sooner as they are weather dependant.
