September 7, 2017 - The City is seeking input to help shape the new Tourism Thunder Bay website. A short anonymous survey has been launched to gather feedback on user needs and desires when traveling and find out what they would look for on a Tourism website.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to enhance our website and present Thunder Bay to the world," said Paul Pepe, Manager - Tourism Thunder Bay. "We invite everyone - residents and visitors alike, to share their views and tell us what they feel would be helpful on a Tourism website when planning a trip."

Working with eSolutions Group, Tourism Thunder Bay aims to launch the new site in early Spring 2018.

The new Tourism site is part of an overall website renewal project which will create a new website for the City of Thunder Bay.

"We recognize the vital importance of having a strong online presence," said Karen Lewis, Director - Corporate Strategic Services. "The new City site will be responsive for smart phone use, integrated with social media, and provide easier access to information. It will be designed to meet the needs of today's citizens and engage them in the municipal process."

As redevelopment of the City website gets underway, opportunities will be available for the public to provide input on the project.
