June 2, 2017 - The Marina Park Boater's launch and parking lot will be closed to the public on Monday, June 5. The closure is expected to be in effect from 7 am until 4 pm. Workers will be onsite installing top-coat asphalt on Marina Park Drive.

During the parking lot closure, residents can use the Neste Boat Launch, on Mountdale Avenue on the Kaministiquia River, or the Current River Boat Launch (Fisherman's Wharf), on Cumberland Street North. To access the Current River Boat Launch, turn right on Grenville Avenue, right onto Shipyard Road, and left onto Fisherman's Road.
