The Muskeg Express train ride at Centennial Park will be out of service until further notice due to a front wheel derailment.
The popular attraction had undergone inspection and numerous successful test runs last fall as well as this spring to prepare for opening in June. However, the ride unfortunately went out of service last weekend.
The ride is expected to remain out of service for a number of weeks, as the City takes the time to thoroughly investigate, modify, and test the ride to achieve stable and sustainable operations going forward.
An update will be provided when the ride is ready to resume service. In the meantime, the City welcomes everyone to enjoy the many other amenities available at Centennial Park, including its logging camp and museum, woodland adventure playground, hiking and mountain biking trails, rock climbing, and off-leash dog park.
The City acknowledges the inconvenience of the Muskeg Express being out of service, and appreciates the patience shown during this disruption.Contact Us
