Forty nominees will be celebrated in 11 categories at the City of Thunder Bay’s 9th Annual Arts & Heritage Awards Ceremony, presented by Copperfin Credit Union. The nominees represent a cross section of City’s most talented and dedicated creatives working in Arts, Culture, and Heritage. Categories include lifetime achievement, visual art, music, stage performance, sponsor of the year, and more.

“We are excited to be able to celebrate our dynamic cultural sector and the individuals and organizations that contribute to making Thunder Bay an inspiring place to live, work and play,” said Louisa Costanzo, Cultural Development & Events Supervisor. “We congratulate all the nominees and we are looking forward to taking an evening to celebrate together, and showcase the hard work and talent that makes our community rich.”

The awards will be presented at a gala ceremony at Magnus Theatre on Thursday, November 14th featuring Martin Blanchet Jazz Quintet and performances by nominees from several award categories including Cortney Kennedy and the LockyerBoys.

Tickets are $40 each and provide access to the Awards Ceremony, a Pre-Ceremony Reception (6-7pm) at Magnus Theatre and the Arts & Heritage Awards After Party at Red Lion Smokehouse (9-11pm). Group pricing (purchase 6+ tickets at $30/ticket) and student pricing ($25/ticket with valid student ID), are available. Tickets are on sale now at the Magnus Theatre Box Office or online at www.magnus.on.ca.
