The skate pad at Prince Arthur's Landing will officially open on Sunday, Nov. 28, operating daily from 12 pm to 9 pm. Residents and visitors of all ages and abilities are welcome to enjoy skating at the waterfront throughout the winter months.
Due to staffing shortages, the Water Garden Pavillion will remain closed at this time.
"Our intent is to staff the building during peak hours as quickly as possible," said Louisa Costanzo, Cultural Development & Events Supervisor. “Ongoing recruitment for Facility Attendants is a priority, and we encourage applications from anyone interested in working at this wonderful site this winter."
Users are encouraged to come prepared and dress accordingly. Additional benches will be placed around the skate pad, and portable washrooms will be available. Physical distancing of two metres is required.
