Reservations are now open for the 2025 camping season at Trowbridge Falls and Chippewa Park campgrounds. Whether you’re planning a family getaway, a scenic retreat, or an outdoor celebration, these campgrounds offer the perfect setting to make lasting memories.
Reservations can be made online at: www.thunderbay.ca/campgrounds. Seasonal campsite spots are limited, with nine available at Trowbridge Falls, and seven at Chippewa Park. Campsite and cabin bookings are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
New this year, Trowbridge Falls Campground now offers day-use sites for birthday parties, picnics, and other events.
“We are thrilled to open reservations for the 2025 camping season,” said Christy Howells, Supervisor – Administrative Support Services. “We welcome all residents and visitors to experience these two incredible campgrounds.”
Chippewa Park Campground is located on the shores of Lake Superior and offers a variety of camping options, including cabins, RV sites, and tent spots. Amenities include washroom and shower facilities, a community kitchen, concessions, beaches, amusement rides, and more.
Trowbridge Falls Campground is nestled in the serene woods beside the Current River. It features RV and tent sites, washroom and shower facilities, hiking trails, biking moguls, a playground, wading spots along the river, and more.
