A section of Balmoral Street, between Hewitson Street and Alloy Drive, will undergo road reconstruction and storm sewer installation starting on Tuesday, May 19. 

A full closure of Balmoral Street, between Hewitson Street and the Harbour Expressway, will be conducted at the start of the construction and will last approximately 10 days. During this time, the intersection at the Harbour Expressway and Balmoral Street will be fully closed for approximately two days. Motorists are to follow posted signage and detours.

Following the full street closure, Balmoral Street and the Harbour Expressway will reopen to one lane of traffic in each direction. Work is expected to be completed by the end of October.  

The construction schedule is subject to change, as various factors can have an impact on project timelines.

Motorists are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage when travelling near the construction area.
