The City of Thunder Bay will open its splash pads in three phases over the coming days, offering free family fun and relief from summer temperatures in neighbourhoods across the city.
- Splash pads at Northwood Playfield and County Park open June 14
- The waterfront splash pad at Prince Arthur’s Landing opens June 15
- Splash pads at North End Park and Franklin Park open June 21
The Prince Arthur’s Landing splash pad will be available between 11 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. All other splash pads are open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Splash pads typically operate through early September, depending on weather conditions.
