August 25, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay's music series Live on the Waterfront will host its final show of the season on Wednesday, Aug. 30.
Live on the Waterfront's second season included feature acts The White Buffalo, The Once, Café Paris, The Dead South, Kardinal Offishall and Magic! The season momentum will keep going until it closes out with the final act, The Honest Heart Collective, a six piece touring act from Thunder Bay. This rock band's set will feature new material from their upcoming record to be released in 2018.
"We've been out of town for a while recording our new record with Derek Hoffman in Toronto," said Ryan MacDonald of Honest Heart Collective. "We're very excited to be coming home to close out the Live at the Waterfront series this Wednesday! We are looking forward to playing a rock n' roll show in front of our hometown fans, friends and family."
Also performing on closing night is the four-piece alternative pop and rock band, Cold Lake Sun, as well as the four-piece pop rock band, La Reese.
Live on the Waterfront runs from 6 pm - 9 pm. It is presented by Ontario Power Generation and is funded in part by the Government of Ontario.
